A new job was the change I needed.

How to Pull Yourself Out of a Rut

At some point in our lives we can get so stressed out and worry to the point of pushing the people we care for most, away.

The past couple of weeks have been  rough. I had gotten “stuck in a rut” and knew that if I didn’t pull myself out of it soon, I could get very sick. I had to do something, fast.

I used to keep a personal journal through Middle and High School. For some reason, I haven’t kept one since. And I miss it. It doesn’t matter if you’re a writer or not. It’s important to have a place to be yourself 110% and preferably with pen and paper you can keep completely private.

Until today, I didn’t realize how many different journals I had to keep certain topics separate. This one for Career and journey through life, in general, my coffee blog to share my passion, a Poetry notebook, and a Writer’s notebook for prompts and story ideas.
